Amazing High Heel Race 20132013-06-15T13:30:00-07:002013-06-15T19:00:00-07:00The Amazing High Heel Race is a fundraiser hosted by the Hillcrest Business Association and organized by neighborhood volunteers to raise money for the Hillcrest Pride Flag. As a Hillcrest enthausist we need your support to help make The Amazing High Heel Race as wild and creative as possible! With your participation, individuals will race through Hillcrest in high heels (and most likely, fabulous costumes) and will stop at various businesses on the route, collecting the colors of the LGBT Pride Flag and completing a specific task in order to move on to the next stop. The starting line will be at the Peets Parking Lot and the finish line will be at Gossip Grill, where we'll close with a huge celebration. Your participation, as a business sponsor, donor or contestant alike, means that you're supporting the Hillcrest Pride Flag. Pride of Hillcrest Block Party 20132013-07-12T18:00:00-07:002013-07-12T23:00:00-07:00The Block Party is BACK - and perfected. In it's second annual appearance, San Diego Pride is partnering with the neighborhood of Fabulous Hillcrest and the Hillcrest Business Association to throw a Friday night PRIDE block party!  Dance and celebrate Pride in the streets of Hillcrest on the evening of Friday, July 12. Buy a regular admissions ticket or go exclusive with a VIP admissions ticket, or go even bigger with a coveted Cabana, either way, you'll be kicking off Pride Weekend in style. Dancing, DJ's, a headliner, food, drinks and tons more at the intersection of Normal Street and University Avenue. This is an OVER +21 event.
